I dont think there is enough public consciousness about the Native Americans among the people in the United States for yahoo answers to be a good forum for you attempt through other peoples opinions.
History seems to stop recording their existence after after American began to prosper, so I recommend to you that go about the situation by doing your own research on the history of Native American people into the 20th century. Look to academic sites and official webpages of Native American organizations such as First Nations. Heres a portal of various affiliated people and events:

I judge Native Americans in history by their response to the wrong-doing dealt to them by pioneering Americans. Yes some fought back, but from what I know, the greater number attempted to be consistly civil with people even after being done wrong.
I believe Native American to have been some of the most spiritually intuned people on earth as when captured some of them literally died from not bein gable to practice their own religion. I admire their respect for nature and relation with the earth. And I think that their extreme purity in their motives, actions, and peaceful nature was the substance abuse so heavily impacted the cultures (b/c they did not have a sense for dealing with the extreme and neurotic built into their culture because such behavior was not frequent or support by their culture).

nicely, you're actually not residing in the 50's, so this is predicted that, except you are the only breadwinner in the family contributors, that money are chop up 50/50, and that's some thing that she will would desire to learn, one way or the different. First, with the home, tell her which you quite want her enter too, because of the fact she will would desire to stay there too. If it falls completely to you, tell her which you have very final say if so, and purely for the reason which you like the home won't inevitably advise that it fits her, so that's terrific that she gets in contact. As for funds, refer to her and tell her which you think of it can be a stable concept in case you opened a joint economic corporation account jointly once you get married so as that that's going to be much less annoying to budget with expenses and hire and that no person's footing lots of the expenses and getting caught for funds for the basics, and you will the two have a extra physically powerful concept of what's coming in and what's going out. That way, whoever pulls out the debit card after a meal out isn't nerve-racking approximately who's paying. If she's against those agreements, then, this is unhappy to assert, yet I believe you, this marriage will bring about disaster. a marriage is a partnership, not funds maker/stored woman or breadwinner/skivvy dating. the two companions would desire to artwork at a marriage to maintain it going, and anticipating to have each and every thing surpassed to her on a plate will pass away you feeling below liked and envious in the direction of her, a main occasion on the thank you to deliver an end to a marriage.

The person above who said they robbed natives without paying is an idiot, you're paying with money and land.
Anyway.
I'm Native American, my opinion of them is half and half. I find pride in my culture but I also despise it.
My tribe and the tribes I've been around have shown their true colors in the most disgusting ways, they are drug addicts, alcoholics who gamble constantly at local casinos. These are my family members.
My cousins lived on a reservation i didnt. most were pregnant by 16, now have more than one child and have almost always slept with their own family members. They waste money on petty things and don't save it all.
(all my family members recieve up to 4,000 dollars a month to spend, just for being Native American.)
They don't invest it in anything but alcohol and if they do buy things they usually break it because they're just really ungrateful people.
The good things about Natives, I'm not too sure because I've taken myself from that culture almost fully.

I am a metis
and have never met the native members of my family.
most think I am italian or dutch
I have stayed away from native people due to the gangs, drugs, baby making reservations, sugar intake, alcohol.
I am unable to prove my status due to the fact that i have never met my father so I am stuck in limbo at the status level of a half breed. kinda sucks eh. they don't really trust queen elizebeth the 2nd. and trying to stop a 300 pound native chick is like trying to stop an out of control semi-tractor trailer.
don't piss off a native either.

Native what? Americans? What about them? I like all the ones I've met. For some reason it seems Cherokee women are a little crazy. Am I the only one who thinks this? Every one I've met seem psycho but I still like them... they have heart.
