Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" was arranged exactly that way in a 1995 tribute album "In From the Storm" with the London Metropolitan Orchestra. Michael Kamen produced it. "Roundabout" by Yes might work. So might "Lucky Man" or "Karn Evil 9" by Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Or try "In The Court Of The Crimson King" by King Crimson.
