It depends.... It's unfair to many to judge them based on position. Carr is a good QB, but the team that he was on had no O-line. Most pressure = more int's, just like tim couch (good qb, horrible team) If oakland picks him up, like they should and draft C.J., they yes he'll have a good career, as long as owner and coach don't ruin it. But if no one does, yes he becomes a armchair qb

David Carr's career has just started. He is a great quarterback who just needs a new change, his stay in Houston was doomed from the start. With a new team and new surroundings I see David Carr going to the elite of the league

David Carr will get another chance with a middle of the pack team. No one holds him responsible for being sacked, what does it average, once a series? He can't do worse than 16 of the 32 starters.

NO!! But Its about to start either in Oakland or Miami. Either one of those two will take him to the playoffs, somewhere he could've never accomplished in an embarrassing Houston team. Oakland will fix their O-Line in the Draft, and get a playmaker or two. Miami, only needs another WR for him to throw too.
Carr has an amazing Future, as long as he stays away from Texas.

david carr has just begun, if you remember right he was a top pick in the draft and had fairly well numbers in Houston for only having 2-3 seconds to make a decision, before being sacked! he will go to bigger better things and do great

Him being cut from Houston is the best thing that could of happend to Carr because now he has a fresh start somewhere else who actually might have a O-line that can protect him! Please let him sign with the Vikings!!!!!!!!!!

Getting out of Houston will be the best thing that ever happened to him. He's a good QB when he's able to stand for more than 3 seconds.

Probably not over, per se, but surely wont be a starter for anyone else unless the guy he backs up goes down with injury.

He may get a try-out and either make a practice squad(if he is willing) or get a back-up position. I don't see him landing a starting job this year, and if he is holding out to be a starter his career is OVER.
