No, you are right on. I can get disgusted with some of the questions....! or I can give them my best shot, even if I think that most of them are pointless.

Well, that's why Y!A has a bunch of other categories were you can find important questions (if that's were you were talking about).
You may find these questions useless. Some are, to be frank. But we can always look for knowledgeable questions that teaches us something new. Sometimes we gotta escape form that period to relax, look and read to funny, useless questions like here. I mean, you'd be surprise. You find good questions here. Some require thinking (not a lot,but still).
Then we can't always look for the other important questions that dealt with personal problems. For instance, someone just got there heart broken. Or how about when some friend of his/hers has perished. I mean, after a while, these questions become depressing. They show woe and despair. And we can only bear so much. We also need to be surrounded by positive input.
So, some of these useless helps us escape from sadness, depression, agony, etc...reality. We need some fun here, you know. I hope this helped your question. I'm not sure whether you were talking about this. I'm kinda thinking about stuff at the same time. Well, peace.

at least you asked a question. I am so sick of seeing questions like "biology exam" or what do you think of ...." or "should I or shouldn't I?"
If there is no who, what, where, when, or how on there, I think the questions should be deleted. That would take care of some of the useless questions.

P&S is totally different from the rest. We're not as serious about things and we do have a sense of humor here, which is great. So, questions can be about anything.

Asking useless questions keeps people on their toes! Some of the subjects mentioned here really make you think about things you wouldn't normally think about. (that could be a good or bad thing. lol)
