Ok this is a question for male and females, if u really liked someone of the opposite sex for almost a year and you told that person, and that person told you they only like you as a friend,
but you get the chance to have that person in your bed after a nite
of drinking and at that moment both of u are very vulnerable, and is 4am, and u know that person is engaged to get married, and you tried to be nice by offering a change of clothes, so they could sleep confortable in ur bed, do you take advantage of the situation and make a move and even have sex, and REMEMBER you really like this person, WHAT WILL the normal Human being do????????
PLEASE ADVICE.

Thats a dumb question. I mean a dog could give you the answer to that one. Any "normal guy" would take an advantage of the situation because it's in our DNA. Would it be the appropriate thing to do? Bang your friend? No.If you were friends, you think there would be some kind of boundry set. Otherwise, this chick took you for a ride, and the only reason she wants to do it is because she's drunk. On the temporal end of it, I would say leave it alone. If she's engaged to be married, then she only wants you for the night. And, you have to ask yourself, is that the type of people you want in your life? I know you have a conscience because you brought this up, and it's bothering you. Part of me wouldv'e took an advantage while the other part would have regretted it in the morning. So, go figure- is it fun feeling guilty and shameful? No it is'nt so think about consequences before you act. That's probably the most wisest thing any man could hear..but oh how hard it is to apply. Good luck buddy!

I am human, and I'm sure a little boose and the fact that its 4am can impare my judgment, but its a no win situation. They only like you as a friend, so if you have sex, they will most likely regret it in the morning, and you will had nothing more than a physical encounter with them, They don't really want to be with you, so it was nothing more than sex. Plus it will probably become very awkward between the two of you. I'd offer my bed and hit the couch. Be respectful of the person she's with. If it was your partner/finence would you want someone to do that to you. No need to cause problems.

well, the normal person would... get into a lot of trouble. She is engaged to be married. Sounds to me like it's time to walk away. She definitely just wants to be a friend. Do you want to toss that away for a one night stand? Do you want to be honorable? Tell her flat out how you feel and be prepared to walk. You can't continue to let this kind of relationship hurt you anymore. You may think it's mean but isn't it for the best? She has a different life and doesn't seem to want you as the primary part of it.
At least in the future you can know you didn't mess her life up and don't hate yourself for being a cheese-ball. If she really loves her soon to be husband, you won't have a friend anymore once you do the nasty.
If you love something, let it go. If it comes back... well, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Well the normal human being may be very temped to take advantage of the situation. If you did stop feeling bad about it. You could be a cut above by not doing this if it has not already happened. Oh dear i am sorry that you are depressed. Make up your mind to work through this problem.

I would leave him/her alone. Do you want to be HATED the next day? Because you have to understand, you have no chance with that person in real life. Sure, they are drunk and I suppose you could have sex and take advantage, but you would be a creep. And you would definitely prove that you did NOT love them, you are just selfish. Real love means to put the other person's life before your own.

I read your previous question. If either person wanted nothing to happen then one should have slept on the couch. Sounds like the question never came up.
You need to talk to your girl friend and ask her to break it off with this other guy who has the hots on her. if not it is just a matter of time......

I would say it all depends on how strong a person's character is. I mean really- can you compare one night of sex with a loving, lasting relationship? If you really loved this person would you want them waking up in the morning totally devastated? I mean, this one night would ruin their entire life as they know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How could you want that if you really loved them? I think it would just be extremely selfish- but if too much alcohol is involved how could you expect to be thinking with your brain????
If there is a next time, please don't allow that kind of situation to occur in the first place!!!!!!
Good luck!

Real human being move on for both your sakes. If you love her you won't let her make a stupid mistake. Love is not sex move on. She is already engaged....and if she does have sex with you she will not like you afterwards been there done that bought the t-shirt....move on

The DECENT, MORAL person would not have done anything more than to take this person home. Having sex with a woman who is impaired by alcohol is repulsive, especially after she's made her feelings regarding you clear.

I have found myself in a similar situation and it's a tough call. I went for it, and have no regrets. The difference is I'm the one who is engaged. If she was really going to marry this guy she wouldn't be in a position where you could take advantage in the first place. Personally, I say go for it.
