I consider myself to be very flexible, being able to still do the splits is great, but i remember nearly doing myself an injury getting my leg behind my head lol...... are you flexible, and have you ever done yourself an injury trying to do something that requred being flexible? it would seem that the bones almost crystallize with age, so how do you keep your bones supple? is it through supplements, exercise, etc....?

Some become more porous as the calcium doesn't adhere to the bones themselves and instead seeps into the blood stream. This is believed the be the reasoning in the relation between osteo and hardening of the arteries in many people who suffer both. My mom has osteoporosis and I've read a lot about it. This calcium adheres to the arterial walls instead.

Bones aren't the flexible part of the body. It's your joints that become flexible, right? Peace, girl.

it's not your BONES that stretch!!! it's your MUSCLES!

excersise, regular stretching, good diet... all help to keep your muscles "stretchy", but as you get older they WILL be less flexible.

if you over stretch then...KABANG! ripped your muscle tissue!
