Me and my boyfriend have been using the ''withdrawl method" for the past 6 mo. but all of a sudden i havent had a period since mid-january. We were together last on the 17th of march and since then been waiting for my period. Took 3 pregnancy tests already, all negative. Is it possible that my period was late, and then I got pregnant? I dont know if I should wait another week to take the test.

Most of us are here today because of the pull-n-pray manuever. If you want to be 100% sure, you need to call your doctor and have then draw blood to check your pregancy hormone level, AKA hcg. While you're there have them do your pap, check for std's and educate you on all your birthcontrol options. The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask.

Go to the doctor and get it checked out. My sister in law has 3 kids and none of the at home pregnancy test came back positive. Even the urine ones at the doctors offices told her she wasn't pregnant so the doctor had to do a blood test and an ultrasound to confirm that she was.

you have to wait atleast two weeks after your missed period before taking a pregnancy test..........Signs of being pregnant usually don't occur until a couple of weeks into the pregnancy...but, you can check and see if your experiencing any of these symptoms -----

missed period
frequent urination
bloating
morning sickness
breast soreness
headaches
vaginal discharge

WTF, do you actually think the withdrawlal method works. If you are not pregnant get educated on practicing safe sex. You have your whole life ahead of you. Don't throw it away on a mistake that could have been prevented. If your boyfriend doesn't like wearing protection you need to find a man, not a BOY!

Not to get all educational or anything, but you do know that withdrawl is not a "method" of keeping you from getting pregnant, right?

I hate to tell you this, but just because he pulls out doesn't mean he didn't ejaculate. In fact it is called pre-ejaculation and the male doesn't feel it. It is only a tiny drip, but it contains thousands of sperm and it only takes one to get you pregnant. If I were you I would schedule an appt. with my OBGYN just to be safe.
