It's okay as long as the water is close to your own body temperature, under 100 degrees. If the water is too hot, you get overheated and that increases your heart rate, reduces blood flow to the fetus, and potentially puts the baby under stress.

Ok i came back because I was going to copy for an other answer someone just asked.

Well stress can lead to death. I have my water heater set for 103 in the winter. when I had small kids and pregnant I moved it down a touch to 100. It also helps you not scald a baby during a bath by not having to switch it back and forth for hubby and yourself.

Hot tubs have been linked to fetus death of a temp of 104. This is in my mayo health Clinic book.

No, I took long hot baths with my second child about twice a day. He turned out fine. When I was pregnant, I had the same concern, glad to see I'm not alone.

Just make sure the waters not too hot. Like sauna hot. Stay away from saunas and hot tubs. They will make your body temp rise and the babys too.
