Do you think it is due to diet, or possibly due to genetic differences? For instance, I am white, and I find that blacks, asian, and middle easterners have offensive odors. If you are a non-white race, do white people smell bad to you?

Your question does sound racist but I know where you are coming from. I find black people and middle easterners have a strong body odor. The only white people I find that stink are poor or white trash, as for every other race they don't smell bad to me, they smell different but not bad.

I agree it's diet. I live in the San Francisco Bay area and there are people of all races here. I have tried most ethnic food styles and notice I will smell after eating them. Spices and such smell. Particularly Asian, Middle Eastern and Meditterean food. I used to work with some people fromFrance and they were offended by my perfumes and scented products and makeup. That is cultural I guess. From what I understand the French don't shower nearly as much as us Americans do.

I don't think it's the race (cause seriously, you probably haven't gone around smelling a huge group of each ethnic group lol) but the person.
Besides, you also have to take into account their personality, age, possibly gender, job, time of day etc

Wow, how ignorant and stereotypical. Some people say whites have certains smells, is it true? No, of course not. It depends on the person, not their race/nationality. I have smelt funky people who were white, black, asian, and hispanic. Some people just don't properly clean themselves.

i'm so sick of this question but i'll answer for the points while i have taken the time on a Saturday night to participate. it's probably diet. humans are essentially mammals and we are, yes, sensitive to other humans and the way they smell. but it based mostly I think on diet. And why are going around sniffing people like some gain detergent commercial. i bet you probably got cussed out by a person of another race about sniffin on them, got your feelings hurt, and now you want to say they stink. You probably don't have a girlfriend so you gotta go around sniffin folks, you really need to stop that.

White people, to me, always seem to smell like wet cats. I could be with the trailer park queen or the Queen of England and am always tempted to say,"Here kitty-kitty...

yes i am indian/persian, and i think white people smell very bad, especially because most of them dont shower, and then spray purfume on themselves. its so nasty how many even have smelly mouth.
