Make sure you've told your video card to send your feed through there as well (be it "extended" or a "clone", usually done through right click on desktop>properties>settings.)

definite, besides the fact that it won't look as good because it does on your computing gadget. A television has pixels of a different shape and would not have as lots of them. you should use the S-video output of your video card on your computing gadget, in case you have one, or use a test converter that takes the VGA sign and converts it to factor or s-video on your television. those selection in value from $ninety 9 into the 1000's of $$, besides the fact that the version in high quality is rarely properly worth what you pay. those strategies are ok for observing DVD's, movies etc on your television, yet no longer plenty for computing gadget interfaces. good success

TFTs usually do need a frequency of 60Hz or 72Hz. But some old graphics cards do produce non-standard fequencies instead of straight 60Hz (like 57.5Hz) that some TFTs can not process. Try to set the output to 72Hz instead of 60Hz.
