of course I know how-don't have to look it up on net! did it at a bar in the 90's! I know the craze had passed--it was the #! song on Vh-1's One hit wonder show!
I say we bring it back--all in favor say Ole!

I love to macarena--did everytime I heard the song--real embarrassing at the super market!
Did you know that the song was called Magdalena (after Mary Magdalene) but the guys who wrote it had to change it to Macarena (a neighborhood in Seville, Spain where they were from) because someone else had a hit song called Magdalena.
I am so cool because I went to school!
And ole--lets bring it back!

Heck yeah, I know the Macarena!!! I danced it ALL SUMMER LONG! that was, of course, a little while ago, probably before you were born, but, yes, I know Macarena. I danced it on the beach, in the clubs, in the bars in Europe when it first came out!

When I was in high school, that song was everywhere. They played it at MORP and had the whole quad doing it. My friends spent the song trying to teach me, but I'm not that coordinated! Or maybe my brain just refused to let my body do that stupid dance.
(I don't know if a lot of schools had this, but MORP- Prom spelled backwards- was a dance we had in September outside in the quad. You weren't supposed to bring a date; instead you went with a big group of friends. We wore crazy costumes instead of the normal formal dance attire.)

For the love of God-DON'T bring that lame,stupid dance phase back.How many cover bands do it at their shows?None.Zero.Zip."The Electric Boogie" was WAY more popular then that dance wanna be.I NEVER did it because I didn't wanna look like a retard on the dance floor...
