Do you think I could get a management position within a company after graduating college with a B.S. degree?

My ultimate career goal is to get experience, get an M.B.A. and then EVENTUALLY becoming an executive like CEO or COO

Management positions aren't as hard to come by as people might think - there are always places like Walgreens that are looking for managers.

Anyway, you don't specify what area of study your degree is in but the best way to get noticed and get a management job is to work hard, work smart and follow up.

It takes real life work experience to be a true manager. So, you might get a management training program, but, that company will have you perform the "dirty work" to start with. So, really it is not a management position that you will start with. You will have to work up to it. Whatever that first step is will take you down a certain path. For example, your career will take two very different paths if for example, you started out in a Sales Management Training program, as opposed to, a Finance or Accounting Training program.

Unless you already have some type of management experience before you graduate, I doubt you'll gain a management position right from the start. Many companies have Management Trainee positions for new graduates.
