My life, as I see it, is a quest for balance. A balance inside, a balance outside of myself... a balance between those two balances! *grin*
It's generally the stuff outside of myself that causes me to mis-step. When I feel off-kilter, I try to go back to my center and find a way to smooth the waves back to calm. This generally involves some form of creating... painting or carving... it helps me focus my thoughts and feelings. Amount of time? Depends on how many degrees I am off my center...

It all depends on the fluid level in your ears and such as a deficient fluid level or abnormal fluid level in your ears has everthing to do with one's equilibrium and balance.

Physically? Not very long at all.
Emotionally? It takes some time, sometimes.
