I met this guy while at a photo convention thing about a month ago. We got along really well and lately we've started hanging out together. He hung out one night with me and some of my friends and we had a lot of fun. Then last night he called me up to ask if I wanted to go on the photo adventure with him. So we went and spent about 5 hours driving around the area and having lots of fun. We got to talk about different sorts of things while he had his iPod playing all these really good songs. We used each other as models in our pics that we took. I am thinking about asking him to prom the next time I hang out/talk with him. But i'm just really nervous because he goes to another school and he does not plan on going to his prom. But whenever we have hung out together, its always been fun. And theres obviously some interest of being at least friends since he hung out with me for so long without making up excuses to leave.
So should I ask him???
and how and what should I say?

If you want to go to prom with him then I think that you should go for it! As for how you should do it, I'm not too sure. My boyfriend asked me to go to our grad with him just over a month ago *finally* after my friends had been dropping subtle (and not-so-subtle) hints that he should ask me. We went out for coffee one night before going to a movie and he held my hands and asked me if I would go to grad with him. The important thing is that you want to go to your prom with him and you should just ask him one time when you are out taking pictures or even plan a date for it over coffee.
