Well, I doubt whether they have much, if anything from Kinky Friedman And The Texas Jewboys. (Kinky, in fact ran for governor of Texas last year). Most of their material was done in the mid-'70's and it's pretty funny stuff, too. There was a tribute album "Pearls In The Snow" where Willie Nelson, Asleep At The Wheel, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett, Delbert McClinton, and covered Kinky Friedman songs.
Personally, I like the older Country music. Hank Williams, Sr. has a lot of good songs for someone who died before he hit 30. You can feel it. It's so, pure.
If you like dancing, you might consider some music from Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys (probably where Kinky got the name for his band), it's from the '40's and '50's, mainly. I think it's classified as Country Swing Music. (The Swing coming from the popular Big Band music of the day)
I don't know if Blue Grass is included in your collection, but it should be. Same for Rock-A-Billy (got Elvis?). A couple of newer bands are the Drive-by Truckers and the Hillbilly Hellcats (got them from eMusic). Try new stuff, it's good for your brain.
There are a lot of sub-genres that might lead you to discover other music you will enjoy. I listen to almost anything, these days, as my curiosity kept me exploring. Took up Operatic arias not too long ago, still enjoy Hank Williams, Sr. singing "I'm So Lonesome, I Could Cry" or "Jambalya", or Dean Martin doing up "Ain't That A Kick In The Head", Eminem's "Lose Yourself", Tool's "Sober", Dionne Warwick's "I Say A Little Prayer", Prince's "Take Me With U", Beethoven's 9th, and on and on.... I like music.
Other artists that did Country/Country-like songs:
Leon Russell
Rolling Stones
Buddy Holly
Commander Cody
Dr. Hook (funny stuff)
John Prine
Rodney Crowell
Cowboy Junkies
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Grateful Dead
Arlo Guthrie

Try adding some Jeffrey Steele to your collection. He was the lead singer for Boy Howdy in the early 90's. Today he is one of the top songwriters in the business, in addition to recording his own records. Some of the songs he's written for other artists include Me and My Gang by Rascal Flatts, Picking Wildflowers by Keith Anderson, and Chrome by Trace Adkins. I would greatly recommend you check out his songs Something in the Water, Just the Way We Do It Around Here, Once a Cowboy, and A Good Year for the Outlaws.

Tim McGraw - "Somethin' Like That" (somebody else mentioned this song, but called it "BBQ stain")
Randy Travis - "Deeper Than the Holler"
Alabama - "High Cotton", "Mountain Music", "Tennessee River and the Mountain Man", "Song of the South", "When it All Goes South", "Dixieland Delight"
"Making Memories of Us" and "It's Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night That Chew Your @$$ Out All Day Long", both by the Notorious Cherry Bombs. Two of the Notorious Cherry Bombs - Vince Gill and Rodney Crowell - wrote the song "Making Memories of Us" and I like their version better than Keith Urban's.
"Never Knew Lonely" and "Liza Jane", both by Vince Gill.
just to name a few. My Yahoo Music radio station is all country. I have linked to it in the sources section
