Sachin has played for too long and is inconsistent now. Ganguly is too slow for ODIs now. Dravid still good, but his technique is slowly devoloping cracks.

The ones who should not have got selected are Sachin the holy cow, Ganguly the spent force, Sehwag the lost batsman, and Kumble the old horse. It is better they go soon after their return.
We need to learn to retire players before they put themselves to shame. There has been much comment on their having made millions. I would not grudge that. Nothing wrong in earning, when the active earning period is low. Unless they fail to appear for practice or their performance is affected by the ad shoots, we should not curse them for this.
The worst fall out is that old cricketers don't want to quit. I guess they are after the sponsorship benefits when they cling on. Graceful retirement has to come from within. Forced dropping comes from outside when things go from bad to worse, and is delayed out of courtesy. This is a drag on the country.

Well, i dont agree sachin should retire straight away, this is not the best way to retire, as india crashed out of the world cup and if sachin retires he would be called as looser specially in the last phase of his career.

Even the test team would look very ordinary without sachin in there at no.4, india can still do a good job without him at home, but away home it wud be very tough without him.

My opinion is that india should only play sachin in tough series like australia, pakistan, southafrica etc. and against easy oppositions they shoulnt play him, youngsters should be given a chance.

If sachin retires India would be on a Downhill side especially the test team, doesnt matter how he performed in this world cup. Even sachin recently said he would play the next world cup if his body holds good, he's not hinking to retire soon.

sure, some of our player should retire after this wc.
1-Sachin's eye sight is weak now,he can't react quickly enough to the ball at the speed more than 135 kms\hr even there is no movement in it.
2-Ganguly playing to be a captain again.
3-Sehwag by no mean a technically correct batsman,he can't be a successful player against strong opponent.
4-Harbhajan not bowling to take a wicket, playing to survive in the team.

if u can find younger players that can replace them...why not?
do not blame individuals just because they fail as a team in the WC.
sachin is still a good cricketer. he may need new motivation because he has achieved all a cricketer could wish for. and i still think that he's the best batsman ever.
i think india team peak too early. they were consistent before the WC but fail miserably against bangladesh & sri lanka.
you should put your trust in your current players....i think they still have something to show in future. and they need the fans' support.
well, maybe after this experience, they will bounce back...who knows?

They should all be kicked out. India needs new blood and new selection rules. The whole political situation should be thrown out. Everyone is to blame for this mess that Indian cricket is. Stop treating the players like gods and hold them responsible. There is a lot of greed all over.

To sum it up, i like Dada greater as a, than as a cricketer. He substitute right into a residing notion to me, and could constantly stay one! i will surely not forget approximately how he got here returned into the crowd from nowhere, while all and sundry appeared to have forgotten that there was once an excellent left hander spoke of as Sourav Ganguly! the way he has fought to income returned his place interior the crowd even while there substitute into no person to stand beside him has made an enduring effect on my concepts. Dada's occasion truly dragged me out of melancholy, and gave me new enthusiasm in direction of my examine. i substitute into myself dealing with a bad area, and extremely often it appeared to me that I in simple terms isn't waiting to do something, and felt like giving up! yet while Sourav Dada made his comeback, I understood that one's very own determination to prevail is greater significant than the rest interior the entire worldwide. I comprehend your emotions, yet from our Bengal Tiger,we learnt to settle for fact! So, please do not cry because of the fact Dada is long gone, yet smile because of the fact somebody like Dada substitute into there. Thank God which you're a toddler of Bengal, the state which gave Indian cricket a gem between cricketers! such as you, i'm additionally quiting watching cricket as quickly as and for all, not because of the fact Dada is retiring, yet as a ethical protest in direction of the ultimate way he substitute into truly pressured to retire. yet Dada has led me the place "The concepts is devoid of worry, and the top is held intense", and the place "words come out from the intensity of certainty". i might constantly stay grateful to him for exhibiting a easy in my life, while darkness appeared to embody each little thing.
