i live in Vancouver BC, and i'm planning to buy i scooter.
can a 49cc or 125cc scooter go on a high way?
how about Yamaha Vino 125.
can it go to Richmond form Downtown or North Van??

No way.....

You are in the same boat we are in,
I'm in Ontario and you would not want
to take anything less than a Maxi-Scooter
on any highway...

But a 125cc to 200cc vintage or
newer Scooter would allow you to
ride safely on any other roads and
give you the power and performance
to take you where you need to go..
It just might take you alittle longer
...but then you can enjoy the ride
and the sights....

go for a vespa 150 with brand new stella electric start engine it will not only take you cross country but take you there with style power and class i know this guy in canada selling great scooters contact him at motionurbaine@bellnet.ca his name is Jean has a great scooter shop,excellent and honest....tell him Sunny recommended you to him maybe he gives you good deal......best of luck happy motoring.....

i wouldn't take anything short of an urban assault vehicle on the highway down there , those Lower Mainland drivers are nuts !!! i think the G.V.R.D. could tell you about minimum speed limits on the roads you will need to take .
