I dont think that there is anything wrong with wanting a baby at 55. the hard thing though would be to actually get pregnant . Most women that dont get there periods over 45 cant have children but if you can have a child go ahead. But i wouldnt want to because when the child is young you/whoever as the mother will not be able to do many things with the child, plus when you die the child will probably be very young.

I think people can judge and place opinion but look at the world we live in, women that age or healthier than alot of youngens, I think it is all in how you take care of yourself, and to say she might die, to be honest young folk fallin out quicker than the older folk. I think to eaches own when it comes to you and your body, Sarah had a baby and it sure did not say that her body fell apart. It is far fetch to think about having a baby at that age because you have done it all basically so it would be something drastic but that is between the man and the woman. And also i rather see adult with a baby than a nine , ten , 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17. 18 19, 20 etc having babies no jobs , no father, no home, just no means to have a baby and by all means it is happening at alarming rate. So i would rather see a women in her 50 than a child in her teens, So has Chris Brown says Please dont judge.

not at all, the fact that the 55 year old woman is getting older plays a big role in this. Its more or less a mid life crisis. you know that you can no longer give birth and that makes you want it all the more. Its the same as when a 55 year old man wants a motorcycle and to dye his hair.

No not really. But they shouldnt be getting pregnant at that age because of the risk of birth defects. If a woman this age already has kids, she should wait for grandkids. Or she could get a job as a nanny or something to help fulfill her maternal needs.

no, its not wrong for a 55year old woman to want a baby, however it wouldn't be very wise for a 55year old woman to actually have a baby, (if she could even get pregnnt in the first place) due to complications, the increased chance of downs syndrome, and even if adopting, the plain fact that she may be too old to care for her child in a few years..

it isnt wrong it is just weird. the baby could have problems an dit could be more difficult for an older woman to have a baby than a younger woman.
