Absolutely. My ex saw how much I was capable of and seemed to think I could live up to that standard forever and a day. Needless to say, I couldn't.

Yes I would say alot of people have, but I am not alone there. I blame society. In this fast paced world of instant gratification, all too often we expect more and more from people who are already stretched and time poor. We all need to remember that we are only human and with that comes a lot of good things and a little imperfection.

Yes, all the time!!!
This is the situation where my parents forget that I'm only human. My parents wonder why I don't study all the time, I always tell them I'm not some kind of robot, and that I'm only human. Yet they keep bringing it up, about why I never study in front of them.=)

Of course...happens all the time, to all of us...but we're not really talking about 'anyone', are we? We're talking about 'someone', 'someone' close to you perhaps?
I'm not trying to be a smartass or unfeeling, but....

did you by chance maybe forget (unintentional as it may have been) that THEY were human, w/feelings and expectations, first? and now could it maybe be their lack of understanding or acceptance of your explanation (apology?) that has you feeling they've forgotten that you too are only human?

I feel that way at least 1 or 2 times a week. I think my boss thinks that I don't ever leave or sleep or have a family or have a social life or just a life.

Yes sometimes my family forgets that I am human too. I have to remind them sometimes that I am human and I have my needs too.

Yes...and ironically...human is all we will ever be.
