Does anyone know if most ink jet printers come with the first set of ink cartridges already with it or do you have to purchase the first set separately?

They generally come with what's known as "starter cartridges", which contains about half of the ink of a normal cartridge.
Usually you get a regular black and regular color. Photo carts are extra cost, as are additional stuff.

Usually, a trial set of cartridges come with the printer--read the box!

Most come with cartridges in the box. They may be limited in the amount of ink they have and you may need to purchase replacements sooner than
if you use standard volume cartridges.

Yes.all the inkjet printer come with atleast single cartridge those are the low end printers
Some come with both color and black cartridge which are high end printers

yes cartgidges comes with the printers in almost all models
