I have degree in political science. Is this a dead end degree?

I feel like my degree is getting me no where. I am having trouble finding a respectable, decent job. I don't on furthering my education any further at moment. Any insights or suggestions.

It's a pretty tough major for finding a good job unless you truly want to join the government. And we know that's not a respectable, decent job! LOL Not trying to mock you but you know what I mean?
