yes surely.... he has the skills to do a lot of damage to the opposition team. He has great leadership skills and he has proved it yesterday againts south africa when SA strted hemmering Austrians from 1st over. The match was going out of control but due to the great tactics by Ricky the match was back in the Australians pocket! He is a true living legend

More people may say Ricky Ponting, but Stephen Fleming is the best right now. Australian team is filled with a group of excellent players of top class. But in the case of New Zealand, things are not similar to Australia and there Fleming has to do a lot than Ponting.

After all, Australia is the elite in both forms of the game, ODIs and Test Matches. As captain, Ricky still continues to perform at the highest level.

Yeah, he's a fantasitc player, both in terms of his captaincy and as a batsmen. He's lead his team to the top and still performed at an outstanding level individually.
