Yes, when I say state tax, I mean state income tax. So far, I see Alaska, Texas, Florida, Washington, Oregon and Delaware, any others?

I'd have to say Alaska has slowest overall tax.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming have no income tax.
New Hampshire and Tennessee don't tax wages but do tax some dividends and interest.
Alaska , Delaware, New Hampshire, Oregon, and Montana have no state sales tax.

Well, if by least amount of state tax you mean state income tax, I believe Washington state still has no income tax. It does however have local sales tax. Oregon and Delaware, however have no have no sales tax. Most any state in the country has lower tax rates than California.

There are several states, including Oregon, that have no sales tax at all, however, if you own your property, remember that California has property tax restrictions that other states may not have.
