worth millions, when you see him, he looks as healthy as you or me. Meanwhile, millions of poor die from HIV/AIDS every year. Yet, we don't need national health care system?

That's a good question, I too look forward to the replies because I really don't know how he could possibly look so healthy.

He doesn't have AIDS, he has HIV.

He has been able to keep his HIV infection under control through anti-retroviral medication and healthy living.

It is unclear why some people do better than others, and there are factors related to the immune system that are still not understood. I think that being a multi-millionaire, in really good physical shape, and having David Ho (one of the main architects of triple combination therapy) as your personal physician can't hurt. In other words, he is not your typical person with HIV.

sorry all HIV patients have access in this country to medication its just a question of them actually taking it!! All the makers of HIV meds will basically give it away to poor people if theres no other way. Realistically it is possible to drop the total HIV virus count in a person to the point where it would be hard to tell they have it. Millions of poor in africa die there arent even millions infected in the US just over 1 million infected currently see CDC website.

I saw him on Oprah once and he claims that he works out every day and takes all of his meds. He keeps a positive attitude about it.
