The object of the game is :
When its time for the first team to bat and score how many runs they can.If they hit the ball with the bat and the ball goes over the boundry (the rope at the end of the fiels),it counts a 6 runs(the score). And if it goes along the ground and touches the rope it is counted as four runs. And the second team must try to stopm the ball fro reaching the rope.
If the second team cathces the ball without the ball touching the ground, the batsman is out.And the next batsan comes it.Only 10 batsmen can come in .But only 2 batsmen can be at the field. But the bowlers whole team can be there to stop the ball going to the boundry. There ae 50 overs in a 1 day match. In one over the bowler can boul 6 balls. And then the next bowler comes in and tries to get the batsman out buy either trying to hit the wickets(3 sticks) which is behind the batsman. If the batsman manages to hit the ball but it doesent go far he can try to make a run for it to the other end of the pitch.
And hes other batsman tries to come to his place befor the bowlers hit the wicket, so he has to reach there faster.
When the bowler bowls he must bowl within the line. If he steps out of the line while bowling its called a NO BALL.And the batsmangets 1 run.

And when the bowler bowls and the batsman stops it with his leg pads the Umpire will try to find out if he didnt stop it wiht his pad would it have struck the wicket.
If he cannot make the desion he will call for Third Umpire.By moving his hands in a box shape.
The third umpire uses the camera to figure out whether it would have struck the wicket or not

Well thats all you have to know about the basics of cricket.Eventually you will find the rest (if there is to know) later.
