Could a huge appetite and lots of loose stools---tmi i know---be a sign of labor? I remember the night before I had my daughter i had a bout of diarhea, but then i was 39 weeks. I may just be over anxious to get this kid outta me, but i haven't changed my diet at all, and i get sharp cramps, low against my pelvic bone. Can't see my doctor till monday, so just looking for opinions.

Hmmm you have not changed your diet but now are having a huge appetite? So, you are not indulging in the food? Are you sure?

If you are sure you did not eat more then maybe you need to more of what ever your body is craving. Larger appetite can come from anxiety or lack of vits your body wants.

Loose stools can be a sign, infact a good one. But if you ate more of something then nope just your body did not like it.

Many women have loose stools at the end or not enough. That is why they put it on as a sign. Funny huh, doesnt help much.

Just because you haven't changed your diet doesn't mean something hasn't all of a sudden irritated your bowels. You are pregnant, hormones change every week. And you say you have been pregnant before, so this should be somewhat familiar to you. However, you still have 5 weeks to go. yes the second one tends to come a little faster ( i know i've had 3, each one earlier and earlier, and faster labor), but it's most likely braxton hicks. unless your water breaks or begins to leak, or you are bleeding, I wouldn't worry. Consult your doctor on your appointment date this monday and tell him your concerns. I'm sure he will tell you the same thing I just did. Or close to it. Just take a deep breath, get a nice hot cup of earl grey tea and relax to some soft music. It will help some of the anxiety go away.
Congrats by the way, and good luck. I hope I was of some assistance.

Start preserving monitor of the contractions you're having. If they final from a million-two minutes and occur in steady durations, you're most likely in labour. Try discovering a relaxed function. If you hold exchanging positions and nonetheless the rigors are there, it's obviously that you're in labour. Sometimes, those pains can arise considering the little one is popping right into a function, getting ready itself for labour and it'll have located itself capable that would be painful for you. When I was once anticipating my first baby, I needed to have my labour triggered considering he had a foot pushing in opposition to my ribcage, making it very painful and tricky to respire. Should the affliction persists, my recommendation is that you just would name your physician and feature him/her take a appear at you to be certain that each one is okay and to position your brain at relaxation. If you're fairly in labour... then congratulations on ur new little one :)

just relax, your probally getting anxoius and that will cause diareaha. If you take a bath and sleep some, and pain comes and it gets worse then maybe you are in labor but its too early to tell now, so relax.

Sounds like either you miscalculated your due date, or it's braxton hicks. Is there a walk-in clinic nearby? If you're worried about it, find a way to see someone.
