Most of the time he is very scarcastic, and just an A$$ towards me, I'm really getting tired of it....I don't know what to do to make him get over it!

I am 25 he is 30, we have an 21 month old son together and I have a 7 year old daughter from a previous relationship. We have been married for 4 years. I don't know if it is his job or what, I do not work and he said he is fine with that, I do go to school full time to be a nurse...I have tried talking to him, sometimes it is like talking to a wall.

Every time he starts in with the put-downs, walk away. I don't mean out of the room, I mean out of the house. Don't return for several hours. There are several possible outcomes:
1. He will notice a pattern, ask you why you keep disappearing for hours at a time, which will be a great opportunity for you to say: "Well, dear, when you say the things you say to me, it really hurts my feelings, and this is my way of stopping you from doing just that." Then, if he values your presence in his life, he will knock it off.
2. If he doesn't seem to notice / care that you're not around and doesn't knock it off with the verbal abuse, your next port of call should be a good divorce lawyer.

First of all what is he supposed to get over and you must start by addressing the problem if he cant talk to you like a human and tell you what the problem is then its time to take a look at this relationship and see is it really worth staying around for good luck been there...recently

A study of couples conducted several years ago showed that when one (or both) partners were sarcastic and mistreated each other, the marriage was at risk. Most of them ended in divorce.

Of course, many marriages fail, but this was one key indicator.

If you think your marriage is worth saving I would highly recommend counseling.

You need to make it quite clear that you well not take this kind of abuse any more. Tell him you have children you are trying to raise and you will not let them think this is the way to treat women. Also that you have respect for yourself and you expect him to have the same. Don't put up with it, think of your daughter, do you want her to think it's ok for boys or men to treat her this way???

When did this all start, before the wedding or after. If before, you knew what he was like when you married him. If after, when did it start, something obviously triggered it off - you both need to sit down and talk, tell him how you feel....

Oh God....mine too !!!! I just ignore him, like I only answer or talk when I have to....I just never ask him questions or initiate conversation. My advice to you is get rid of him NOW...but if you cant or wont....just ignore it. It's hard, but it helps.

Divorce him and marry me. I may be sarcastic, but atleast it'll be in a humorous sort of way.
