For me it was when I was dating this woman. I was in love with her but to shy to tell her. I was in the army reserves and on my two week duty. So i made a tape of Lionel Ritchie's song "hello" with me telling her that I wanted this song to tell her what I felt. when I came home from my two weeks, she met me and told me that she met someone else. I was heart broke but proud of what i did.

***frick my fiance is like super romantic. he does all these lil things for me, and seriously puts me to shame cause i'm just not that creative. he's made me roses out of felt and pipecleaners and made extra felt rose petals for my bed, he had 120 real long stemmed red roses delivered to my door a couple months ago, and for our first anniversary I woke up to a rose and champagne. then, he wanted to go down to the park. We walked around for a bit and when we sat down he could see something in the leaves...there under a pile of leaves he'd hidden a couple more roses for me...then when we went out for supper there were a couple more there on the table at the restaurant for me, and when we got home there were candles burning all over the living room, wine and the rest of the dozen roses waiting for me.

no, everything he does doesn't center around roses, but i have had more than my share of flowers since i've known him. he just amazes me w/ some of the stuff he comes up w/ tho...and he's always got all the lil details covered. i'm a lucky girl, what can i say.

my husband sent me on a scavenger hunt around the city where i lived. he left a clue that had me go to a flower shop where there was a bouquet of roses for me and another clue. i ended up at victoria secret where there was a present(a teddy) left for me and another clue. it led me to a hotel where he was waiting for me to take me to dinner. we went to dinner and spent the night at the hotel. what a wonderful and romantic night.

I lit aromatic candles and placed them around our jacuzzi and filled it with water and I placed rose petals on the surface. We "bathed" together and made love after.

when me and my bf started dating it was exam time in college and he surprised me with a big basket full of red bulls.

sure he coulda bought me flowers, or took me to dinner, but thats not what i needed or wanted.

i took the redbull and stayed up and studied and he stayed up with me. i think that took a lot of thought and i liked it.
