It depends on your skin type. Personally I like Lancome Dual finish. It may be pricey at times, but try to buy it when they give you away a gift with purchase. The Dual finish works either wet or dry. It comes with 2 sponges. One is thicker and can be dampened to slightly moisten the foundation. The other sponge is great for touch-up. M.a.c make-up's some of the best stuff on the market right now.
It depends on what look you're going for.
For extremely bright colors, Medusa Make-up's probably the best.
