its prom night so just get fake ones. real metal weighs much more. go to claires, the icing, forever 21, and pick up a cheap pair that look pretty with your dress. it will be made out of metallic painted plastic, or metallic painted steel. this weighs much less than gold or silver. they will probably fade after a few wears but they will look great prom night!

Try to find earrings that weigh less. Go to Claires or Icing with a pair of earring you already own and make sure the new prom earrings weigh about the same or less.
