17 and 19 yes no problem. 13 and 15 no way! What ages?!

Yeah It is very important. By the way I am 16 so I dont know what elders think. But lying on the couch will not mislead if you have a strong will in your life. Nothing can mislead me like that ;) Its just spending time watching TV so why is it a big deal. Nobodys going to anything, if they do, they will do in any place any time, Not only the couch. When they are alone with a girl they would do that. So its perfect and enjoyable.

That would really depend on your age and that of your boyfriend. If you are younger than 16 then no. Older then yes so long as it is just laying on couch watching tv.

It depends on the ages of the girls and how close the child is with you if you have a open communication with this child talk it out dont be the mean mother who she or he rebels against i was a teen ager at once and my first love whom i was with for four years before he past we used to lye on the sofa together and i was only 14 at the time and never had sex until i was 16 with him have a convo with the kid see whats up

if there about 15 16 yrs old why not. Its not like there gonna start doin it just cuz there laying on the the couch together. But making out is a definate NO NO!

Well yes and no, somtimes the guy might see it as an invitation for more than just lying, but if shes a sensible girl she wont let that happen untill she really is ready, the bottom line is not is it ok or not, its is she sensible enough to be wise in her dissions and how strong your faith is in her.

Depends on age - If over 16 OK, if I'm not her mom and they aren't in my house - I'm not an advocate of youngsters (under 16) getting into "tight" relationships - other things are more important to learn at that age.

Not in my house, thank you. Once they pay their their own way there are plenty of motels to choose from. I'd suggest one with a heated pool and mirrors over red velvet couch.

yes it is appropriate. if you don't allow your teenage kids to lay on a couch with there b/f or g/f then you are being to strick and the kids are going to resent you. it's better to trust them to do simple things like this so they know you trust them and think of them as young adults that will make smart choices. don't be too strick.... believe me i can tell you from experience strick parents make you want to do bad stuff even more!

no it is not appropriate. the parents should not allow this, only will lead to other inappropriate behavior. the boyfriend should have some sort of respect for the girl and her parents.
