I guess that would be in order. I lost a friend around the Holidays. She died of cancer. It will be hard to "replace" her friendship, however.

Absolutely. The beauty of human interaction is that you can't know what will come next. Though you may feel you've lost the best that you could have (sorry for your loss - I've just split with my man, and I know it ain't fun), it's not all over. We have certain people in our lives when we need them. It may be for a long time or a short time, but all we can do is value whatever time we had and move on. In a world full of people, we can't help but find a new friend or lover sooner or later, who will fill whatever our needs have become.

My best friend that I had for years moved away, we still keep in touch but, it's not the same. I am pretty much a loner so therefore I can honesty say that I don't go out trying to gain new friends. I have met plenty of people since through other people....but I pretty much stick it alone. It's okay....I'm okay.

It's kinda hard some time's, but yeah. I had to give up my 2 best friends, last year when i moved 10000000000 miles away. Hey your'll aways have US lot.

I have a different take on Friendship. I feel we can count our friends on one hand. true friends. You cant loose a best friend. they never were a real best friend, if they left.
