You are never permitted to drink again.
That should get you to court.

Presiding Judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest. Your attorney (if you have one) will be notified and you will be given the opportunity to turn yourself in. Otherwise, law enforcement have the right to issue warrants on your residence, workplace, etc, if they see necessary. Given the nature of your offence, you are already facing a period of license loss. If you fail to appear in court, you could very well face jail time, as you will be viewed as a flight risk. You made one mistake, don't make another.

A warrant is issued for their arrest. No questions asked, when they are found, they are arrested and taken to jail. I would imagine the punishment to be worse since they could be found to be avoiding sentencing.
Best advice - Check with a lawyer

In general, if you fail to show up in court for a criminal case, they issue a warrant for your arrest.

A warrant is issued for your arrest. You automatically plead no contest (guilty), meaning you will be fined and your license will be suspended or revoked.
