Ppl who come to my doctor's office with a runny nose and headache for 1 day. Then you look at their children who look like they are on their death bed so you ask the parent what the child was diagnosed with and what meds are they taking and the parents reply that kids have been sick for two weeks but they didn't have the time/money to take them to the drs.
Another one is when a childless couple is in the waiting room and cant have children and then a mom comes in with her brood of 6 and the kids are dirty, unkempt, clothes nasty with snot running down their noses into their mouths and thin.

Witnessing someone being abused in some way & not being able to control the situation. Or seeing a loved one die. Or listening to my two older daughters fight with each other & watching them become enemies. Or realizing that people I put trust in were lieing to me all along.

It breaks my heart when people dismiss the needs of others, because they have preconcieved notions about their situation.

An on-line acquaintance had lost a mouse. It made me very sad because it reminded me of my little Zaira. I told this person that I wept for the mouse, but that they should rejoice that the mouse had lived.

gosh, several things. Hungry and ill people, dead animals on the road, what's happening to some of our young people today, the number of lives lost in Iraq, knowing my son is going back to Iraq next week and the look on his kids face when he loads on the plane, I could go on and on.

When you give someone 100% of your heart and soul and it's not enough.

When people hurt children and animals.
