To be honest, I didn't like him when I met him. I though he was arrogant and cocky and I couldn't stand him. We actually got into a huge argument and didn't speak for 2 years. We ran into each other after the 2 years and ended up in love. We've been together for over 6 years. Now, I cannot even imagine ever hating him, I love him so much.

I met my husband over 5 years ago at a little hole in the wall club... I was actually there to see my ex's band and their new lead singer. I watched the show stareing at the singer thinking how "hot" he was... and feeling guilty because I had a boyfriend and was more interested in this stranger! lol
After the show we had a chance to talk a little found out we were from the same home state of Ohio... and had lived an hour apart! He asked if he could contact me again...I figured.. why not a friend is not a bad thing to have.. even if I really like him! So I gave him my "info" and he gave me his.

A few months passed without speaking but he was ALWAYS on my mind... During this time my boyfriend and I parted ways.
One night while online I seen him on and started to chat with him... told him about my break up (which unknown to me at the time he was happy about LOL). Soon I asked if I could call him... COMPLETELY out of character for me as I was really shy! The phone conversation turned into making plans to hang out.
He rolled up in his beat up car that you could hear from a mile away, lol, and we went off. I was disapointed that we picked up one of his female friends to go along with us, and stopping by to see one of his other female friends (I soon began to wonder what I was doing thinking he could be interested for more then friends! lol)
Anyway to make a long story short we ended up a couple by the end of the night.
5 years later we are married and have one child and are still very much feeling those "sparks".=)

I was a graduate student at the U.of TX and was teaching a
freshmen Psychology class, she was in the class. I was 27,
she was 17, instant attraction & started dating...A few months
later, on my 28th b'day, she gave me an antique gold pocket
watch with our names engraved on it. My name & her name
with my surname. I took the hint & asker her to marry me about two minutes later. We were married shortly after her 18th b'day.
We were married for wonderful 15 yrs. and had two great sons. She was killed by a drunk driver a couple years ago. Both sons now out of the house & in college.
I have not re-married...I have several friends with benefits
but no exclusive relationship. I am sure I will someday remarry

I met my husband on the Internet. Our first date was going to a coffee shop and telling one another about ourselves and what we were looking for in a relationship. The attraction was there, but since we both already had one failed marriage behind us, it was put on hold until the evening was over. We dated for nine months and have been married for six years and like you, have had a few ups and downs, but forcing ourselves to always communicate no matter how angry we are we are better today then ever.

my roommate invited a bunch of her friends over and that's when we met. he convinced me to go to a hunted cemetery with him! I did and had so much fun and had the crap scared out of me by a bird! Turns out the cemetery was not haunted but the rush just made me fall right into his arms. We got married two months later and haven't been apart since.
