Tell him and tell him now. I know its an uncomfortable situation, but the person who said it is right, the longer you wait the more it may seem like it is your new boyfriend's after you tell him don't expect the reaction you want, this is scary for a guy and now that you have broken up he may not want to believe that it is his, be totally honest (tell him if there is any possibility it isnt) and tell him you will be happy to do a paternity test once the baby comes. Congratulations on your baby!

toughy. I think the best way would be in person.
By asking him to meet with you, (because you need to talk to him) would give him the idea that something is up, and give him time to think about what it is you want to tell him, and running through scenarios. Giving him this period of anticipation will likely better prepare him for the news of your pregnancy. Evidently, I would suggest you meet at a public place.. maybe like a coffee shop.
and essentially, when you meet him you say "listen, I wanted to meet with you to let you know that I'm pregnant, and I've decided to keep the child."
Before you meet with him, I would suggest that you write down your expectations of him as the biological father of your child-to-be. and I guess most importantly, don't forget that he is legally entitled to be part of this child's life, therefore to maintain a good, healthy and mature relationship with your ex-boyfriend is important to the healthy rearing of your child-to-be. (but now I'm answering a whole other question altogether...)

as others have very corretly told that it has to be told.. and mind you friend it has to be told in such a way that you won't get offended.. add more and more plus points to it.. add more weight to yout statement.. yet he will tend to argue with you so be ready and be cool with him.. do not make it a lengthy argument make it clean , sweet, short, and straight..as ever,,, make him convinced that is his baby,, ( go by the blood tests,,/ the days you got together../ and from that day count just 2 weeks or more but it should be not more than 4 months from the day that you 2 got together,, ) goahead,,,

the best thing for you to do is tell your ex he has a baby on the way that's pretty bogus for you not to tell him you giving him a reason to believe he may not be the father. by you not telling him right away makes it seem like you have something to hide maybe you do but if it's his tell him before it's too late

Well he'll probably be in denial since you're with someone new. Just say.."Remember when we were getting along...?" Then tell him. Don't fight him if he says it's not his. Just say okay we'll get a paternity test to be sure.

It's good that you had the courage to tell your new bf about this. Now use that courage to tell your ex.
