Luther died?
Yea, I agree with you...I wept with Jack Tripper's death AND Princess Di's. I'm sad over Anna's death, though. She was a wild but nice girl. :(

Princess Diana, I adored her. The whole thing was all so shocking. My family and I were on an Island vacation when we found out. My sister was heart -broken. She was really up on all of the English Royalty. The rest of the vacation from that point on was a real bummer. Luther Vandross was great, "Celebrate". Poor John Ritter, so unexpected. World just isn't the same without him. Christopher Reeves was a trooper.Wow. Anna Nicole Smith, it was hard not to see it coming. It would be interesting to know just how much people genuinely cared for her, and who was just along for the ride. The only person that I believe gave a rats two cents about her was her son.

Well, any death is sad, no matter whose. Of the people's that you listed, the ones that seemed to bother me the most were Princess Diana, as she was so young and vibrant and seemed to finally be happy with her new male friend. The other thing about her death was the way it happened. The tragedy of the photographers chasing them and Princess Diana, her male friend, and all, running from them. It was just so sad, especially leaving her 2 handsome young sons behind.

The other choice, like your own, would be John Ritter's death, as it happened so suddenly, too, and the way it happened. It seemed like such a freak medical thing and scary. The poor man was just living his life and was a fairly young man and still had a young daughter and boom his aorta came disconnected. That is just so, so sad.

John Ritter. I love Three's Company and 8 Simple Rules. His was death so unexpected. I remember turning on the news that morning and seeing the story about his death. It was one of those deaths that you couldn't really believe he died. You just kind of expected him just to show back up next week.

But if I had to choose out of any famous people in or around the last five years, I would say the same week that Jack Buck and Darryl Kile died (announcer and Cards pitcher). That was a tough week for me.

Princess Diana. I thought they were joking! Until they kept talking about it. What a loss of a beautiful human being.
