I highly doubt something like this is out there. Most PC games today require a CD key to install. If a rental service were indeed developed creators would have to come up with a whole new system for those keys, including a way to end or extend the length of time of validation.

No but for some mmorpgs you can get a free trial or buddy pass. Warcraft has free trials and if a friend of yours buys Final Fantasy XI, it comes with a 1 month buddy pass.
