I am black, but some people think I am one of the Indians from overseas. Do you ever get mistaken for another race?

not me, but my best friend and her sister get mistake for white all the time, they're really Indian from India. Well from north India, not really though there geographical nationality is Pakistani, but their ancestors are Alexander The Greats soldiers, they might be related to the Great himself. I guess you could call em Macedonian or Roman... Their ancestors are... But who gives a damn! Thing is my best friends got blue eyes, black hair, and paler skin then me and I'm white! Indian people are pretty, well at least my friend is, you're lucky you look Indian, you must be pretty darn hot. Sh*t why am I not pretty?!?! Well maybe I am beautiful but not as much as my best friend and her sister. Oh yeah her sister has pale skin, dirty blonde hair, her mum's got green eyes dirty blonde hair, and her dads got brown hair and blue eyes. They constantly get mistaken for like german people, someone actually spoke German to them lol that was funny. All i'm saying is that the countries we come from are big melting pots. There are people of several body types, skin tones, hair color, eye color, but it's really what's inside that counts! I'm proud I don't look white though even though I am, i have a tannish skin tone, that my friends love and want so bad. Hehe i love myself!

Yeah. I am Native American & Italian. My husband is Aztec so my employee ID i wear has my married name on it which is confusing to ppl. I have olive skin, long black curly hair, brown eyes and deep dimples. People often ask me what nationality I am. They usually say that my coloring is middle eastern, but you have really curly hair, ppl who say hispanic often say but you dont have the nose or butt. No one ever guesses correctly even though I tell them that I'm mixed. A lot say I'm obviously Meditranean but don't know what I'd be.People often say I look like a cross between Marie Osmond and Salma Hyeck (sp?) or aren't you so-n-so's sister? I must have a lot of doppelgangers.

On a good day, I can be mistaken for the Human race. Depending on how dark it is.

I'm Italian and I'm always being mistaken for Spanish or Greek. I don't mind.

I can't, but my dad could probably pass for an Arab or a Mexican if he tried, except for maybe his height, because he's pretty tall. He's an American of German-Irish descent. My mom might be able to, too. She's of English-Cherokee descent.

An old girlfriend once thought I was Dominican (I paid very good attention in Spanish class). The look on her face was priceless when she realized I wasn't.
