I know they're worth a whole 5 cents each and all. but I really need to do some laundry and he hasn't realized you can turn them over to the beer store yet.

I don't think its a crime at all, if it was in the trash its yours. The saying goes "one man's trash, is another man's treasure" well that how it works now. I too collect glass bottles, aluminum cans, and plastic water bottles and two liter soda bottles, its worth it, you can complete your meal for that day! Good luck! :)

why don't you just ask if you can have some of them if he ask why make up something that you can do with them like fill them with change tell him you and your friends need them to save money

well just ask if u can have them. tell him you're collecting them...im sure they wont mind. that way u wont risk losing your job
