Really, you thought it was awesome? Well each to their own I guess, personally I thought it was a step down from last two impacts and was just so so. We got something like 10 minutes and 40 seconds of wrestling, could have had a pretty good match between Jerry Lynn and James Storm but instead they turned into a continuation of the whole Jackie v Gail Kim, which without a real womens division and two hours shouldn't be taking time away from the actual wrestling. AJ Styles and Christian were golden on the mic, and the 3D/LAX promo was perfect. It showed that for all his shortcomings in the ring, Bubba can still cut an awesome promo when he needs to. It did two great things, it put more fire into their feud, and put over the NWA/TNA tag team titles as being very important. The Main Event slot really let me down more than anything. Ideally you want the last thing seen to be the strongest part of the night. The match was decent, but it ended on a sour note with that whole James Mitchell/Abyss's mom angle. These angles involving family members, whether real life or made up just simply hardly ever work in pro wrestling. They have been tried forever and they just never pay off. There are major gaps in logic in the whole thing. Yes I know that the plan is for James Mitchell to use Abyss's momma to lure him back under his control, but it asks you to suspend reality totally which is never a good thing. Is Abyss's mom so stupid that she can't see that James Mitchell is using her to get control back over her son? Is she not supposed to see through this cackling madman when he starts calling Abyss an animal? Has Mitchell got her doped up on anti-depressants so she doesn't know anything? LOL I mean come on, what stops Sting from just informing her that Mitchell treated Abyss like a piece of crap, then what would be her excuse for going along with his plan? Is Mitchell going to kidnapp poor Abyss's momma and then force him to do his bidding to get her back? As you can see when you book these type of storylines, they always open up a can of worms that usually end badly. Obviously wrestling requires you to always suspend some reality, but the more bizarre and twisted things become, usually the liklihood of failure grows.

Yeah sting did pretty good even fighting 2 against 1 and he would have won if big poppa pump would not have came out.
