I'm thinking of buying a 3.0ghz computer with a 128(will 256 significantly boost performance). video card , 512 ram, 120hd.
Plan on using it for manly counter strike source, Battle fled 2 and new games.

3.0 GHz isn't to bad, System memory is more of an issue. I would recommend at least 1 GB if not 2 GB. As for the video card defiantly go for a 256 MB card or higher if you can get in to an nVidia 8800 GTS or better.

should run most things but BF2 you will need atleast a gig of ram as its known as a resource hog. as far as video cards if you dont want the big price tag of a 8800 card. look at the 7950 its 512 of ram and over half the price of the 8800. I would look in to dual core and ddr2 ram. as this is the wave of the future in computers.

It can handle pretty much every game including "WOW (World of War Craft)", which is a very high end deffinition game that requires most of your computersattention, but is made easy with a 3 ghz proccessor.

If 2.0 CPU plays every game today, imagine what 3.0 CPU can do.
