It doesn't look like he's playing for the Rangers or the Wolfpack. Did he get traded or something?

He's holdin' it down in Hartford. A telling statement was the fact that the Rangers chose to call up Girardi and Liffiton ahead of Kasper after the recent injury bug hit the team.

You have to believe he's done with the big club and will remain in exile with the Wolfpack along with the likes of Dale Purinton, who's permanent Hartford vacation is a good example of what happens to fringe players that piss Sather off.

Darius Kasparitus is currently on the Hartford Wolfpack roster. He had cleared waivers and was sent down a while ago. Whether he's actually getting any playing I don't know. I know that the Rangers would have liked to have brought him back when they had all these injuries, but he'd have to clear through waivers again. They didn't think he would clear waivers and that would have had an impact on their salary cap situation.

Kasparitus was waived by the Rangers and is currently without a team.

EDIT: Yes, he's currently on the Wolfpack, and he HAS played in games since being put on waivers and being sent down, though not since early February:

The New York Rangers have placed Darius Kasparaitis on waivers and he is likely to clear and be assigned to Hartford of the AHL.
