First of all get a seperate washing basket one for you and leave his on the floor or wherever he leaves it. Don't wash his clothes that is up to him you are his room mate not his mother. As for the bills if you want to make sure they are paid comntinue driving to pay them otherwise you may end up behind in payments. Any dishes he uses and any mess he makes leave it all. He will soon have no plates left and his own filth to lay around in and if this doesn't work, maybe tape a weekend that shows you cleaning up your mess and him sitting down doing absolutely nothing. Failing that get 2 weeks rent in advance and boot his *** out but make sure you have someone lined up to take his spot first though. There is nothing worse than a lazy *** housemate that doesn't do anything except create the mess and then get up and walk away without lifting a finger, don't stand for it.

Explain that you guys are roomates all your chores are 50/50 and he needs to start respecting you and what you do around the house and explain to him that its half of his house too and he needs to do some responsibilites and until he starts helping out around the house somethings will be different reguarding your attitude around him and the things he does and that if he cherishes all the work you do around the house he better start doing his share...
Hope I helped,
Brianna

Have a talk with your room mate and put down some ground rules. As long as you keep doing everything,he will keep on letting you. You can only be taken advantage of if you let them.

You only get used when you allow it. Show him the classified section of the paper for Apts for rent.

You are being taken advantage of and you need to let him know that he has responsibilities too. If he continues like this, then you need to let him know that you are going to find another roommate who is accountable.
