Well it sounds like you are one of his many female friends. Maybe you can just hang out with him for fun and not take it too seriously or be insecure about it. You can't change people so you might as well just live with it.

Just out of curiosity, do you realize what category this question is in? The people here would feel much safer knowing that their SO is going out with the opposite sex, as there would be no chance of anything happening.
