Several years ago I was driving home from a picnic with my family. We passed a homeless guy on a bench. Something told us to turn around. We gave the guy the rest of the food we had that wasn't eaten, and some money.

On another occasion, about 6 yrs ago, we were at the grocery store. We were at the milk section, and an old couple was having trouble reaching something a little to high. My youngest son turned and got the item for them, he was 5 at the time. They were so thankful, and it touched my heart to see my son do that.

The other day I was at the local gas station and as I was paying, I saw this fragile old lady creeping out of her car to get gas so I went out there and pumped the gas for her. It made me sad because she only got $12 dollars worth of gas and some of that was in change! With the prescription and insurance prices the way they are, it's no wonder the elderly have trouble making ends meet. I hope George Bush rots in he**!! Thanks for letting me vent!

I carried a little girl back to the bus she was being hauled around half of Texas in because of Katrina from our supply tent because she wanted to stay with me, she was only three. That was the hardest nice thing I ever did in my life. She felt comfort and safe with me. I wish I could have kept her until her mother found a place to stay. This baby was sad. I will never forget her.
