For sure, it's usually when I'm out doing something I really don't want to be doing (like selling hot dogs in front of the supermarket for a local sports team). I don't want to be there and I know if I leave I'll find an excuse not to return so I'll usually stay past the time I said I would in the first place.

yes i have. 27 years ago at a very traumatic time of my life. Life changing events and across the country. I stayed and moved on.. good question!

Yes a few years ago, a co/worker of mine asked me to go on holiday with her. Glad i didnt, she never said that she wasnt coming back.
