Why not go to a technical school instead? Colleges or Universities are for people really needing a four year degree or at least a two year degree where most Communicty colleges are better then the higher priced Universities....Why not pick a trade like computers or programming or IT...IT techs are in high demand and most IT schools offer job placement after you graduate....Good Luck!

You need to do some soul-searching to decide what things you are interested in. Its not just about making money; if you don't enjoy what you are doing you will not be successful. I have a friend who got an MS in Science than got a law degree, but articling didn't work out because he didn't like it. Now he works in software development.
In your case, I would suggest that you go to community college first and see how you do. Then if you wish to transfer to a university do that. Its also an easier to do well, in my opinion. I have another friend who went to community college for two years and then got into UC Berkeley in Engineering.
Just remember your academic record will follow you for the rest of your life so take it seriously. Good luck.
I noticed someone recommended EMT/paramedic. That's a very good idea as well.

well its a lot of work but you could be an EMT and then a paramedic. It costs about $6,000.00 and take less than a year. Paramadics make up to $80,000.00 per year and the job is like having an extended family and you can do it anywhere in the country...but you need to a motivated learner. and you meet lots of nice people

I think you should get a degree in the department of get some mediocre job that gets boring after a year and then spend all of your life working and never getting rich or being able to stop working so that your whole life is nothing but working and then you wonder what was the point in life if it all sucked

In the long run it does not matter. Spend the first 2 years taking the basic courses and see what you like.

Trades. Any and all. Check into apprenticeships. You make money while learning. - maybe some vocational testing to see what you want to do.
Do what you love and the money will follow.
