It is not a slur, and I have never even tried pot. My question was completely about freedom of speech and expression!!!

What did it have to do with then?

The original question getting deleted was exactly what I was referring to in the original question...........how ironic!!!!!

Hey ScaliaAlito,
Apparently you did not read my entire question or the question that got deleted before this one. It had nothing to do with drugs, It was about freedom of speech. Apparently instead of reading the guideline on Yahoo Q/A so closely, you should read the questions that you answer a little more closely!! By the way I am not soliciting drugs in anyway, in fact I have never used illegal drugs in my life....So don't judge me.

Hey ScaliaAlito,
So are you going to answer my question or not?
Are you offended by the sign that the kid was holding up in Alaska? This question was and is completely 100% about our 1st amendment rights and whether or not tasteless and unpopular speech should be censored? Is freedom of speech o.k. all of the time or if speech is derogatorily tasteless to specific group of people should it be censored? Whether or not you know there is a case in the Supreme court right now with this young boy and his principal from school. The kid was not at school or was he at a school function. Do you believe that this kid has a right to hold this sign?

The sign reads and I quote:
"Bong hits for Jesus"

I phrase my questions so as to get as many responses as possible, You might call if a shock factor, until you read the rest of the question. The original questions had much more to it then the 2nd response question that you answered.

If your question is sincere, you don't have First Amendment rights on Yahoo Answers. Please show me any place on this site where it says you do.

Yahoo Answers is NOT a blog, a chat room or a place where you can offend people or make statements in the form of a question. If you've read the guidelines, it should be obvious why your question was deleted.

A "bong hit" is an illegal act and your question is indistinct from asking, "Do you molest children for Jesus?" or "Do you cut throats for Jesus?" Soliciting responses for illegal activity is a violation of the community guidelines. Disguising insults and rants in the form of a question is also not allowed. If you do not like that, there are myriad other sites to do that on.

As I understand it, this site was created to allow participants to ask GENUINE questions and receive substantive answers across a wide spectrum of subjects.

If you haven't done so already, I encourage you to read the guidelines again.

*Edit*
You write the following:

"Apparently you did not read my entire question or the question that got deleted before this one."

Apparently, you didn't read my reply as carefully as you would like me to read your question.

You asked whether Yahoo Answers is "a bunch of Nazis infringing [your] 1st amendment rights" and I replied you don't have First Amendment rights here.

The question, "Do you do bong hits for Jesus" is on the question line and it should not have been worded that way. I never accused you of doing drugs.

Curiously, you also write the following:

"By the way I am not soliciting drugs in anyway, in fact I have never used illegal drugs in my life....So don't judge me."

Again, perhaps YOU should do exercise a little more care when you read a reply. I never said you were soliciting drugs. I am assuming English is your mother tongue, so it's surprising to see you got that from my reply. I said, "Soliciting responses for illegal activity..." and I backed that up with a couple of analogous questions. The question asks if "you do bong hits for Jesus." You're asking people to say whether they are engaged in illegal activity. That's a violation of the community guidelines, as I see it.

Also, I went to your profile and discovered you regularly violate the guidelines by your questions. You are not asking genuine questions at all. You're simply making political statements in the form of a question. Actually, IMO, almost every question I looked at needs to be deleted.

You shouldn't have phrased the question the way you did.

LOL I live in Alaska, and I can't believe this has gotten so big! I think the principal overreacted. If the kid really wasn't on school grounds or at a school activity, none of her damned business.

What really cracks me up is that he did it just to get on tv...worked like a charm, didn't it?!?

And Yahoo *is* very guilty of promoting one side over the other.

Don't take it personally. There's some people on here who would take offense to a question like "is it raining where you live right now?". I found people in the celebrity section were even worse than in politics. Say something about a person's favorite celebrity and watch out! They don't mess around with stuff like that! LOL!
Just shrug it off and move on.

You are asking a question about an illegal activity, and some might take it as a slur, in addition.

I think Yahoo was trying to do you a favor, personally.

Yahoo is a private company, and you do not have 1st amendment rights with a private company. Private companies can restrict speech all they want.
