I was instructed by our pediatrician that you should ALWAYS push that skin back and teach your son to do the same...my son had what is called adhesions from his circumsicion. Basically the skin kept wanting to grow back because I had not pushed it back when he was younger. Once I realized he had what looked like a yeast infection around the head of his penis, I took him to the doctor and he chastised me for not diligently pushing the head back to clean behind it.Frankly, I was very uncomfortatable touching my son this way, but what happened is my son had to go through us tearing the regrowth away from the incision line because of me not pushing this area back! It was horrid and the doctor said if we didn't continue to push it back daily, that it could continue growing back and he might have to have surgery on it some day. CAN YOU IMAGINE!!!! Pushing it back to clean it is normal and everyone must do it that has a little boy. My son is now 7 and takes very good care cleaning his

Good grief she can call "it" whatever she wants. It's her baby for crying out loud. I would personally take him in to have the Dr. look at it. I am not sure why you would want to dry it out though if it is cracked it may need moister. Best bet is to talk to the Dr. Hope he feels better.

Take him to the Dr to make sure he is okay. The last thing he needs is discomfort in that delicate area! If its cracked...try using Eucerin cream.

Take him to the doctor .... if its pussie ( they thought I was spelling out pussssy) or ozzing or smells

I know iwth my son .. when his skin gets irritated or cracked or dry I use bacitracin ... my son is also intact (meaning he isn't circum.)

Hope this helps

they just didn't remove enough skin. just anti septic cream or something just like an uncircumcised infection. or maybe leave it pushed back without a nappy for a while till fully dried after bath.
